Years ago, our public library lent framed art. I never did take advantage, but still remember one possibility was a watercolor of an open window presumably in the morning bedroom with a spectacular view of cosmos flowers.
My first garden, behind my parents’ house included a whole seed packet of cosmos flowers. I cut lovely pink and white flowers for the table all summer long.
This past spring I remembered, and planted some in front of my house. Some were still blooming when the first snow fell.
